Heidi and Holly playing soccer with UPWARD. In a practice warm up, Holly had taken a shot in the face point blank right in the face from a kick by boy who was older. Her Dad (your loyal cameraman) was on the sidelines and saw it all: The windup, the full leg extension, the ball hitting his oldest daughter smack in the face and knocking her backm and watching her fall to the ground, clearly hurt. It was hard for her Dad to restrain his anger when the boy just went on his way and never stopped to try help Holly up or see if she was okay. The kid just kept playing while Holly cried on the sandy soil. The lessons a parent and child must learn . . . But Holly got over it. And Dad too. The kid survived unscathed. Everyone gets lucky sometime, huh.
